North 44° and its sister organization, the Street Haven Women's Choir, are under the umbrella of the Toronto Choral Society - a non-profit charitable organization.

North 44° donates all profits gained throughout the year to the Street Haven Women's Choir to assist in bringing music and a sense of purpose to women in need. While Street Haven provides these women food and a place to sleep, the Women's Choir furnishes them with paid employment and with music - food for the soul.
